La Liga predictions for Osasuna – Real Madrid

Just few days after sensationally being kicked from the Copa del Rey at the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid will travel to Pamplona to face Osasuna in La Liga. This is a fixture from the 23th round of the Spanish elite division. Let’s discuss it in our La Liga predictions for today.

On Thursday Real Madrid had a chance to make a step towards the 1/2-finals of Copa del Rey, but Los Blancos got defeated at their own Santiago Bernabeu. Zinedine Zidane’s team faced Real Sociedad at home and even scored three goals, but Real Sociedad scored one more – 3-4.

Just as expected, Zinedine Zidane took some interesting decisions for the game, giving a starting place to Alphonse Areola, Eder Militao, James Rodriguez, Brahim Diaz and Vinicius – players who are more often on the bench than starting. In the second half he put Luka Modric, Luka Jovic and Rodrygo on the pitch, but Sociedad still won. It was Marcelo, Rodrygo and Nacho sho scored for Real Madrid, but these goals were not enough.

This was a historical night because for a first time as a manager of Real Madrid Zinedine Zidane lost a game with four goals conceded.
