Soccer predictions for Eibar – Valencia
Eibar hosts Valencia at the Ipurua in a fixture from the 31th week of La Liga. Let’s preview it in our soccer predictions for this week.
Eibar were struggling before the pandemic break and they continue to struggle now. Mendilibar’s team is without a win since February. Right now the club is 17th in La Liga and on three points above the relegation zone, but their survival is still not secured. They have some work to do in the remaining rounds.
In the previous round Eibar made their 8th draw for the season. The team visited Getafe and managed to win a point after a 1-1 scoreline at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez. Charles’ scored an important equaliser for the visitors in the injury time of the first half. He found the net after an assist from Sergi Enrich.
Mendilibar won’t be on the bench against Valencia on Thursday. Eibar’s manager was sent off in the previous game, so his assistant will be leading the team at the Ipurua. Meanwhile Ramis is injured and not avaliable for selection.
Few days ago Valencia recorded their first win after the pandemic. Los Che hosted Osasuna at the Mestalla and celebrated a 2-0 win. Valencia scored both goals in the first half when Rodrigo and Goncalo Guedes found the net. Guedes didn’t just score, but made an assist for Rodrigo’s goal as well.
Valencia’s manager Albert Celades has squad problems before the next game. Cristiano Piccini and Ezequiel Garay are missing the next match because of injuries.
Valencia are now 8th in the league with 46 points, but at the same time just two points behind the 5th Getafe. Los Che could improve their position in the league if they show a better consistency.
That’s our soccer predictions for this week for the La Liga game between Eibar and Valencia. Good luck!
